01What Data We Collect

Charlos collects only the minimum data necessary to function:

• Discord User ID — to save your economy data, server settings, and moderation history
• Discord Server ID — to save server-specific settings like welcome channels, mute roles, and anti-link preferences
• Economy data — wallet balances, inventory items, farm counts, levels, and stats
• Moderation data — warnings, mutes, and bans issued within your server

02What We DO NOT Collect

Charlos does NOT collect:

• Passwords or payment information
• IP addresses
• Real names or email addresses (unless you contact us directly)
• Message content (commands are processed temporarily and not stored)
• Any data from users under 13 years old

03How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to:

• Operate the bot's features (economy, moderation, utility)
• Save your progress and server settings
• Enforce moderation rules within your server
• Diagnose issues and improve the bot's functionality

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to operating the bot.

04Data Storage & Security

Data is stored securely in BDFD's database system. Only the minimum necessary data is collected and retained for as long as you continue using the bot. If Charlos is removed from your server, or you stop using it, your associated data will eventually be deleted as part of routine cleanup.

05Data Sharing

Charlos does NOT sell, rent, or trade your data with third parties. Your data is only ever used for the bot's core functionality, and is never shared beyond what's required to run the service (see Third-Party Services below).

06Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request deletion of your data at any time
• Request a summary of what data is stored about you
• Stop future data collection by removing the bot from your server

07Third-Party Services

Charlos uses BDFD (Bot Designer for Discord) for hosting and data storage, and Discord's own API to operate. Each of these services' own privacy policies apply to how your data is handled on their infrastructure, alongside this policy.

08Children's Privacy

Charlos is not intended for use by anyone under 13 years old, in line with Discord's own age requirements. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 13. If we become aware that we've inadvertently collected such data, it will be deleted promptly.

09Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated as Charlos evolves. The "Last Updated" date reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the bot after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
